Which requirements must have your footwear for hiking and trekking?
Beyond their versatility, the fundamental requirements for our Hiking and / or Trekking footwear are the following:
1. Protection
Rubber reinforcements on the toe, sides and heel will give the footwear greater durability and are necessary to protect the feet from blows with natural elements such as stones, roots, etc.
2. Stability and cushioning
Soles and upper stabilizers to avoid dangerous imbalances, to allow us to carry a backpack with weight and midsoles capable to absorb impacts and prominences of the terrain, during the walk.

4. Grip and traction
The studs of the sole and its multidirectional arrangement allow efficient climbs, security on mid-slopes, brake downhill and avoid skidding.
4. Breathability and impermeability
Fundamental combination when talking about mountain footwear. Avoid overheating and humidity allowing the foot to evacuate perspiration, as well as protecting ourselves from external elements (rain, snow, mud, puddles, rivers to cross, wet meadows, etc.) make the GORE-TEX membrane, or some of its variants, an indispensable component.
5. Comfort
A necessary condition to be able to enjoy the activity. Uncomfortable footwear does not allow us to step on and support correctly, our security decreases and technique suffers.
6. Security
It will be the consequence of an election that respects all the previous requirements.
